How do I import a dvd to imovie ?
iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
I just downloaded the iDVD program from an iLife CD on to the OS 10.9.1 Mqvericks. Works fine. If you don't have it, I believe it is now a free app.

What kind of DVD are you asking about?
A Hollywood movie, or one of your own creation?

iDVD is for exporting/making/creating/'authoring' disks, OP asked for importing DVDs....

wrong info - obsolete, not officially supported for +7 years. But NOT 'free' (should be… ) 😉
