so i just got my new logitech mouse (g500) but it isent recognising it in the logitech control center (in system prefrences) please someone help me i have no idea on what i can do please help me

Is it a Bluetooth mouse? Did you pair it with yoru computer? System Preferences > Bluetooth.

that mouse is not compatible with Mac OS X.
Basic functions should work, but custom settings/use will most likely not.

Okay; apparently you know something I don't - I don't have that mouse, so I can only go by what I read in the company's support site (contained in above link), which says OS X is not supported.
they have stuffed something up they have put it in one place but not the other anyway dont worry i got steermouse witch kinda works some buttons dont work with it but anyway thx for trying to help
