help remove apple id that was on the phone before i bought it

okay so I bought a Iphone 4s and the phone was not restored yet so i restoed it and after the fact that i realise I had to log out of the 1st owners apple ID and i factory rest it without doing it and after i did that i tryed to activate it and then i get to a point it says i need the 1st owners apple id to actviate it and i have no way to contact the owner and i was wondering if i could just take it in to apple to do something for me or will they not be able to do anything.
