Trying to back up my iPhone that has a shattered screen. But it is requiring me to enter the passcode on the phone itself because the phone is locked. That is impossible. Any suggestions on getting around that so I can back up my data?

Trying to back up iPhone because phone has a shattered screen. But it is requiring a passcode before I can back it up and the passcode has to be entered on the phone itself, which is impossible due to shattered screen. Any suggestions on a way to get around this?

If you never synced with iTunes since setting the passcode on it, you won't be able to back up to your computer without entering the passcode first. You can't get around this. This requirement is for your own safety, as it keeps someone who steals you phone from being able to back up your data to their computer without knowing your passcode.
