Why are complete mailing addresses not rendered on iCloud.com?

I recently imported a number of contacts into the Contacts app on my iCloud account in order to use the File > Print functionality for printing address labels. It's a lot quicker than a mail merge in Excel and a bit more elegant too.

I logged into iCloud.com yesterday and noticed that one line of each mailing address routinely seemed to be missing. It's as if two line mailing addresses -- like those with an apartment number or company name -- are missing a line. They show up fine in the Contacts app, so it's not a huge deal, but I'm curious if this is a bug or expected behavior. I've attached two screenshots, note the extra line of text on the Contacts card.

If anyone takes a look at this, here's the information I've collected so far. Not necessarily a solution, but a few ideas.

I imported all the contacts from a .csv into an iCloud account using the Contacts app in 10.9.1. When doing so, this caused the above issue, as well as the Address 1 and Address 2 lines to be displayed in reverse order in the contacts app on both 10.7 and 10.8. After toying with various solutions including exporting and reimporting vCards on the machine running 10.9, I did something that hadn't occured to me -- deleting all the contacts and reimporting them on a machine running 10.7. Reimporting the contacts on 10.7 caused them to render properly in 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9 as well as iCloud.com
