Your crashes might be caused by different problems: Have you exhausted the Trouble Shooting basics?
Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics
When did this crashes first happen? What did you do before they started? Imported new images? Installed or upgraded software or plug-ins? Move your Aperture library? What is the error message in the crash log?

Jan 8, 2014 10:52 AM in response to jlc_appby Frank Caggiano,Also keep in mind that if you upgraded the library to work with the new version of Aperture you will not be able to use that library if you install an older version of the app.
The best you could do is to get the last version of the library off your backups before you did the upgrade.
