does iBooks support .cbr files?

Does anyone know if iBooks for Mavericks supports .cbr (comic) files? I have a bunch of comics I have saved and wanted to know if they were compatible with iBooks.

MacBook Air (Mid 2009), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

iBooks only supports .epub, .ibooks, and pdf.

I am just joinning the Apple world and I don't know much about it yet, but, I believe there may be an app that does what you need, instead of the iBooks app.
