I am from Kuwait, tried to enter iTune voucher in my iphone 5C and got the message "This code must be redeemed in the U.S.storefront." Why?

All iTunes gift cards are country-specific, they can only be used in their country of issue - to redeem and use a US card you will need to be in the US with a US billing address on your account. Do you know anybody in the US that you could sell or give the card to ?
