Do I have to delete credit card info to use redeemed iTunes funds to pay for purchases? It wants to use card & won't let me use funds in account.

I redeemed an iTunes card and the amount is listed on my account. But when I go to make a purchase iTunes want to still use my credit card to pay. Do I have to delete my credit card info to use my redeemed funds or is there a way of choosing a different payment method? I didn't see a tab or option to change between payment options.

As long as you are buying items for yourself (you can't use your balance for gifting) then your balance should automatically be used (you can't specify how things are charged) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5582

When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
