Q: iTunesU course creation limits

Is there a limit to the number of courses a single teacher can create without publishing them to our district iTunesU site? I've been searching Apple documents and am not able to locate the answer.

    Hello vlyons04,

Thank you for the question.  You can publish up to 12 private courses as an unaffiliated instructor:

    Instructor TypeRequirementsNotes
AffiliatedInstructors at K12 school districts as well as colleges and universities whose institutions have an iTunes U site, and their institution's iTunes U Public Site Manager administrator added them as a contributor to the site.Affiliated instructors can access iTunes U Course Manager to create, design, and distribute both public courses and private courses. Affiliated instructors have unlimited upload space.

Tip: If you created a course before you were an affiliated instructor, the course is not associated with your affiliation and is therefore still subject to the course limits for an unaffiliated instructor (for example, no more than 50 students).

UnaffiliatedInstructors not officially affiliated with an iTunes U verified K12 school district, college, or university with an iTunes U Public Site Manager site.Unaffiliated instructors can access iTunes U Course Manager to create, design, and distribute up to 12 private courses, with no more than 50 students per course. iTunes U Course Manager restricts available upload space for unaffiliated instructors to 20 GB.

Tip: To affiliate your account, send your Apple ID to your institution's iTunes U Public Site Manager administrator and request that the administrator add you as a contributor to the site. If your institution does not have a public iTunes U site, visithttps://www.apple.com/education/itunes-u to learn how to join.
