Hello Apple users
I'm thinking of getting the iPad Air but am wondering about Soulseek program. It runs on Macs, but will it run on an iPad? Lets say I download the same program version as it is for Macs and then install it on the iPad. Will it run and is it going to be usable?

There doesn't appear to be a Soulseek app in the App Store and you can't download software from a browser to an iPad.
Why isn't it possible to download a program from a browser to an ipad? Does the ipad accept only apps that are in the appstore?

Yes,only from the App Store. That way Apple can check that it's an adequate app and that it contains no viruses or malware. (Also, for paid apps, Apple gets a commission.)
