gameloft bans

Has anyone else had problems with being shut out of Gameloft games?
What should I do if I believe that an app company is unfairly discriminating against me?
If this free game app was purchased though iTunes Srore should I notify iTunes of my complaint?
or should I report my case to Australian Consemmer affairs?
Any advise would be welcome.

I have included my last email to Gameloft Support to sorput this in context...

Email 6 to Gameloft Support.

MY LAST REPLY FROM YOU WAS ON 27-12-2013

THIS IS MY 6TH EMAIL TO YOU.

I RECEIVED NO REPLY TO MY LAST 2 EMAILS

Dear Gameloft Support.

It has now been nearly 20 day since you banned my account for suspicious activity and STILL there hasn't been a resolution to this situation nor have I received a response from those investigating my case as was promised -see earlier email from you.

With all the strange reward systems built into the Ice Age Village game how can players tell what is suspicious and what is intentional.

Tap Sid three times followed by Manny 3 times or what ever the sequence was and you get the snowy wolf family. Is this suspicious play or a designed back door by Gameloft.

Change your village name to Mcdonald or Saturn or some other name and you get the panda family. Is this suspicious play or a back door designed by Gameloft.

- Multi tap someone's Hyrax tree and get lots of hearts and acorns.

- Visit a particular village and get lots and lots of coins.

- Multi click an some friend' villages and get a heart for each click.

- Put certain items in the inventory and vitis certain villages and get lots of acorns.

- Purchase land in Dino world and use the negative integer counter to get lots and lots of acorns,

- Trial other games or watch videos and get rewarded with lots of acorns,

play slot machine games so many times or agent a game to a certain level and get lots of acorns.

You provide no manual or user instructions or ever explanations of how things can be done.

Which of these actions are suspicious and which are back doors or intentional features included in the game by Gameloft.

How can serious players tell which to use and which will be construed by Gameloft as being suspicious.

You created a game that encourages friends and social media interaction but when we communicate with each other and share these features that we discover in the game you call it suspicious activity and ban player accounts. Have you informed Players that if they share the secrets of the game it will be construed as suspicious game play. Have you informed Facebook that players who share game play features will be deemed suspicious.

I used a lot of strategies to build up my reserve of acorns even sacrificing my star score, coins and hearts to achieve this buffer of acorns and you interpret it as suspicious activity.

I trialed lots and lots of other games with the 'get free acorns' feature in the game through Tapjoy in good faith. (I trust you have explained to these other companies that you have reneged on this agreement and that you are penalizing players who have gained acorns in this manner as suspicious.)

I rather think that as well as targetting players who have a large inbalance of coins or acorns and players who have never or rarely purchased packeges of coins or acorns for a real money value that Gameloft is also using this as an excuse to ban players who communicate with other players on social media and are pushing the design features and design faults of the game and and put pressure on the games designers to continually fix glitches and expand the upper limits and features of the game.

What is the purpose of playing a game but to out-play the game and either win or complete the game to its final outcome - and Gameloft considers this suspicious activity. When I first started playing this FREE game my aim, right from the start was always to complete the game without purchasing any coins or acorns. Is this the suspicious activuty in my Ice Age Village. That I have got so far without padding to Gameloft's profits.

If this is the case : Has Gameloft notified the Apple iTunes Store that the game is not really a free game with a free game mode and players will have their accounts banned for suspicious activity if they don't purchase in-app items or if they out-play the game designers.

You are unfairly discriminating against the players who continue to out play your game and put pressure on your game designers.

Sorry . My intention was not to be rude.

I was just after some learned advice

I meant that if people couldn't help me there was no need to respond.
But I can see how someone could mistake the tone.

I did indicate that Tonefox's response did help me.

FYI
I have taken this to Gameloft customer support and the Gameloft forum
i have only had generic email responses saying that they they will look into my case and the latest response was an automatic reply. That was 20 days ago.

But you are all correct and this is not the appropriate forum for support regarding this issue.

Although my issue with Gameloft and iTunes issue is not resolved I will tag this thread problem solved as my request for some direction was.

Thanks to all those who took the time to read, consider and respond.

I understand that this is not an iPad technical issue but it is an issue re apple itunes store and misrepresentation of an app as described in the iTune Store.
I tried to put my query to the Apple iTunes Store but the links took me to this forum. So I posted the question.

I am currently in dispute with Gameloft as you suggest.
Do I report my concerns to iTunes Store. This was my question?
and How and where do I do this?

If you can't help don't answer.

Being rude to people is no way to continue to get help on this all volunteer user-to-user forum. If you don't like an answer, either ignore it or just say "Thanks but that didn't help. Any other thoughts?".

No, there is no point in taking this up with Apple as it is solely an issue between you and Gameloft.

Best of luck.
