You could try resetting the printing system - sometimes resolves printing problems. Be aware that all listed printers will be deleted and need to be added again:

I'm connected by USB cable. Tried looking for a Brother driver download but they do not provide one for this printer.
If I delete all listed printers for the purpose of then doing a reset, will I not lose them all - as there is seemingly no appropriate driver - and finish worse off than I currently am?

Jan 9, 2014 10:04 AM in response to Ephryby Paul_31,Any printers listed that currently work or are recognised will hopefully add back OK, but yes it's not guaranteed the reset will sort the problem - but it might. You may want to hang fire for other suggestions before deciding to take the chance.
