Q: Hi can I watch sky go on my telly using an iMac and Apple TV

Hi

I have tried watching sky go on my telly using an iPad and Apple TV but it doesn't work, something to do with the hdmi not being supported. I spoke to my nephew who said he can get it to work if he uses his iMac. Why is this ? I know sky have put a stop to iPad but have they stopped it with iMacs ?

Tried with my iPad and it doesn't

    apps which block airplay mirror would still work on computers if they worked on computers in the first place

    block of airplay mirror is only related to appletv

    and if you mean your nephew can airplay mirror to the appletv from his imac then the block of airplay mirror that ios apps can have is not a thing for airplay mirror of osx
