Jan 9, 2014 7:50 AM in response to BubbleMelonby BobRz,I don't know how to fix an existing scan, but I do know the Fujitsu Scansnap scanners do it automatically on scanning. I bought one of them last year for some work even though I had an existing scanner. If you do a lot of scanning it's worth considering.

Jan 9, 2014 8:13 AM in response to BobRzby BubbleMelon,Hi & thanks for the suggestion. However I have a reasonable good scanner from Canon & also I know that the scanner I have can do that too with its scanning software that comes with it.
Its just that I thought prehaps if I was in the situation where I didnt have that software on my computer and if I didn't have Adobe Acrobat, and I only have Preview on my Mac. Would I still be able to do the straightening that I mentioned?
Note: for some reason the help on Preview can't seem to connect to the internet right now on my Mac.

Jun 10, 2015 1:23 PM in response to BubbleMelonby theorose,★HelpfulHere's a solution if you don't have many pages to straighten. It works but it takes a few steps:
[1] First export from in Preview from PDF to TIFF, set the resolution to at least 200 pixels/inch.
[2] Then import into Photo. After importing the image into iPhoto, then straighten the image.
[3] Then export the photo back to PDF. If you do multiple pages, then you can join them back together as one PDF in Preview.
This works, but it takes a few steps. It'd be nice if Apple would add the "straighten" feature to Preview. :-)
