Cannot execute the HP printer manager on Mac HD!

Hello,

I tried to install drivers for a friend on his MAC OS 10.8 for a HP designjet 100 printer via USB cable.

Went I come to execute the downloaded file I got yellow triangle on my HD icon and a message telling me that HP printer manager cannot be installed on my HD. This volume configuration do not meet the required configuration for this update!

Any idea what is going on?
