Feb 23, 2014 3:15 PM in response to jwt643by DocJekl,Very similar issue here, except that I replaced by USB 2.0 Time Machine Drive with a USB 3 Time Machine Drive, and I've not had any sleep/wake problems with Time Machine since. But when I tried to use my old/inherited USB 2.0 Time Machine Drive that's where I had the sleep/wake problems.

Feb 26, 2014 6:47 AM in response to jwt643by jwt643,Okay, 4 DAYS of no S/W failures! Then, when I returned to the office and plugged in my USB 2 TM drive, BOOM! sleep/wake failure.
Chatting with a genius guy this morning...he tells me 10.9.2 has just been released and is hopeful it will solve the issues.
Downloading...we shall see!

Feb 26, 2014 2:47 PM in response to jwt643by DocJekl,I can't test this anymore since I had wiped my USB 2.0 time machine last week when I upgraded to a USB 3.0 drive, but I did install 10.9.2 asap. Looking forward to seeing if it helps, because our iMac is running 10.8.5 and is still using a USB 2.0 time machine.
