Q: Mavericks Crashing on New MBP...

I continue to have my new MBP (15" late 2013) reboot.  I have explored the third party software and have not found anything that is documented as incompatible with Mavericks.  This is my first time having an issue like this since I converted to Macs 5 years ago.  That said, I am not familiar with the diagnostics or utilities that can allow me to troubleshoot crashes or run compatibility tests.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When Mavericks reboots, I find all of my apps re-open, and up to this point I have not lost any information.  However, I don't want to chance this and would like to get to the bottom of the issue.

Thanks in advance.

    FYI...

Two straight days of NO Sleep/Wake errors!  Common denominator so far:  no Time Machine.

Very similar issue here, except that I replaced by USB 2.0 Time Machine Drive with a USB 3 Time Machine Drive, and I've not had any sleep/wake problems with Time Machine since.  But when I tried to use my old/inherited USB 2.0 Time Machine Drive that's where I had the sleep/wake problems.

Okay, 4 DAYS of no S/W failures!  Then, when I returned to the office and plugged in my USB 2 TM drive, BOOM! sleep/wake failure.

Chatting with a genius guy this morning...he tells me 10.9.2 has just been released and is hopeful it will solve the issues.

    Downloading...we shall see!

I can't test this anymore since I had wiped my USB 2.0 time machine last week when I upgraded to a USB 3.0 drive, but I did install 10.9.2 asap. Looking forward to seeing if it helps, because our iMac is running 10.8.5 and is still using a USB 2.0 time machine.
