Deleted all photos how to recover

I thought I was doing something right when I synced my iPhone 4S to my iTunes last night. Then I clicked recover backup, thinking I was backing up my iPhone and next thing I know all my contacts, photos, videos on my phone were deleted. I don't care about the contacts, whoever needs to reach me will, but the last 2 months of photos taken are gone.
