Why doesn't boot camp work with the latest version of Mavrick?

I purchase a Mac Book Pro on 8/31/13

I need Windows because I have several programs that only run on Windows

I was told that Boot Camp would allow me to run Windows

I have had this laptop in for the third time and was just told that the latest version of Mavrick does not work with windows

Best Buy Geek squad wanted another chance to "fix" the problem

I want my $3000 back
