Restoration me for weird Apple ID

When I selected the backup I wanted to restore from, I entered my AppleID but after accepting the terms/conditions, it prompted me to enter the password for an AppleID I never even heard of in order to go forward with the restoration... What's going on with that?? Any way around it?

If you are referring to Activation Lock in iOS 7... there is No Workaround.

Activation Lock in iOS 7 > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5818

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required

If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.
