I used to get a digital booklet as a PDF download when I purchsed an album. The last three albums I have purchased have no booklet whatsoever. This seems odd. I have the latest version of iTunes, using Mountain Lion.

Not all albums sold on the iTunes Store have digital booklets. What are the albums?
Babyshambles - Sequel to the Prequel, Bee Gees - One Night Only. I recently purchased James Blunt Moonlanding, and I download a PDF, but when I view my purchases in iTunes the booklet is not there.
Babyshambles has always had booklets, and I can't imagine an older album like the Bee Gees wouldn't have one.
I viewed all those albums on the US iTunes Store and they simply don't have digital booklets.
The James Blunt file I thought I had is simply a cover with the playlist that I printed from my playlist. It is not a digital booklet. So that adds James Blunt ot the list.
There are no digital booklets for the albums you mention above. They simply don't exist. When you view an album on the iTunes Store a digital booklet, if there is one, will be in the list of tracks. For example look up Frank Zappa's Joe's Garage. That has a digital booklet. The albums you mention do not.
Thanks Michael. I think this a diservice to the people who buy digital albums. I like reading liner notes, and like to know who wrote the song, who played on the song/album, photos. I would think the artist might like to do that also. Now it seems I have to find that info elsewhere, if it can even be found, and for sure it won't be in a nice little book format that I can print out and keep.
Why would artists stop doing liner notes?
It is the record labels that provide the digital booklets. You'd need to contact them.
