Q: Unsure what update I need!

I'm not sure when the last time I updated my computer was and now I have no idea what I need to download.  I'm trying to update itunes to 11.1 but it won't let me until I update to version OS X 10.6.8 or later.  I guess I'm currently using OS X 10.5.8.  What do I need to download??

You'll be able to run the current version of iTunes and sync the iPhone 5C with 10.6.8. If you want to use other recent software, you may need to install a further upgrade; which one, if any, is needed or compatible with your Mac depends on what you'd like to run.
