iPod Nano and Griffin iTrip for Nano

Can someone please, please give me step by step instructions on how to get my iTrip going for my Nano? Of course, the directions that come with it are not at all helpful (like most directions that come with Apple products). I put the iPod into the iTrip as instructed, and the station I want pops up, then it automatically goes to the main menu for Nano, then bounces back to the display showing the station number, and so on and so forth. I press buttons on my click wheel, but nothing happens. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? The station that I would like to use is 87.9, if that helps. I'm going insane! Thanks. 🙂
