I want to reset my MacBook Pro. I've the required Installation CD and the certain key-combination. The problem is that the Mac ejects the CD every time. If I press c while restarting the Mac nothing happens. Where's the problem? Thanks for your answers!

Is the CD clean or is there dust in the optical drive? Any CD scratches? Do any other disks work?
CD is clean and has no scratches. Every disk is ejected...has to be the optical drive. Is it possible to reset the Mac without having the Installation CD?

I would suggest you take the computer in to a see an Apple Genius. They can test the optical drive and quote a price to fix it. They can also reinstall Snow Leopard for you (make sure you have a backup of data.) Alternatively, you could buy a external USB CD drive.
