Airplay icon won't appear on my iMac

Hello,


I just bought bought an imac and an appletv but i finding issues wanting to airplay whatever is on my imac (mirroing, etc). The appletv is properly activated even my iphone and my ipad sees it without any problem...the issue is on the imac (the imac is on the same network with a compatible ip address, i checked this also)...i'm guessing i missed some other settings?? Hope anyone can help me on this one!
