Problem with voice rendering

Hey guys, I just recorded a song using the mic line in, the instrumental sounds great but the voice doesn't. When I listen to the track with headsets it is perfect but as soon as I play it on speakers it sounds like the voice comes out of a telephone and is at a really low volume.However the intrumental doesn't change. I have no idea how to correct that, any solution?
