updated imac to snow leopard. now adobe flash player is blocked. adobe site will show download button. disabled anitvirus. still not showing.

Help, I tell you this is ridiculous can't anything be easy anymore. I updated my imac to snow leopard and you tube was working. Apple required a software update, so I continued and now my Adobe flash player doesn't work anymore. I get a blocked error. When I go to adobe to download updated software the button doesn't display to start the process. It says your anitivirus software must allow you to install software. I disabled avast anitvirus software and still do not see a download now button. ugh!
