Fail to mount hard drive.

I'm not able to mount my hard disk on my macbook. It gives a following eror:


NTFS-3G could not mount /dev/disk2s1

at /Volumes/Elements because the following problem occurred:



dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libfuse.2.dylib

Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/ntfs-3g

Reason: image not found

MacBook Pro, Other OS, Mac OS X 10.9.1

not every application that works in Mac OS X 10.4 through 10.6 will work in OS X 10.9.1. Have you been able to find confirmation from others that that Tiger through Snow Leopard version of NTFS-3G will also work in Mavericks?


If it does work in Mavericks, then you could try reïnstalling it to see if it will restore the missing dynamic library.

I uninstalled NTFE-3G and installed macfuse. I'm able to mount my hard drive and even can write in it which I failed to do before. However, it gives another error as mentioned below.
