Slow 10.6.8 -> format HD -> Mavericks
My Macbook with 10.6.8 Snow Leopard has turned out to run very slowly. After some thinking, I came out with the idea of formatting my hard disk and install Mavericks. I am quite convinced that I would get a lot out of it, but I have some doubts on how to proceed. I have backed up all my files in Time Machine: at which step should I restore them? I am wondering if restoring all files in Time Machine is a bad idea in the first place, as my HD seems to run very slowly right now. Can I restore only the general settings and some specific folders?
How do you suggest me to proceed?
Many thanks!
