some old i tunes purchases wont play from itunes it just keeps saying it cant find the file on pc but they will play on i pad
You might be able to redownload them via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes (music can't be redownloaded in all countries). If they show there but don't have the cloud symbol against them for redownloading then try deleting their entries from the Music part of your library (where you are getting the unable to locate message) and they should then get the cloud symbol in Purchased - or you can connect your iPad to your computer and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them back (again you will need to delete them from Music for them to copy back)
