Can't log into Apple ID on iPhone

Can't log into Apple ID on iPhone

I changed my Apple ID password (kept username the same) by logging into: http://appleid.apple.com. Now I can't log into my Apple ID on my iPhone. I've verified that I have the correct password by logging out of my Apple ID account on the internet (using my laptop) and logging back in successfully.

I even deleted my iCloud account on the iPhone and then tried to log back in to the same account using the new password but it still fails to log in. Finally, I deleted my mail/contacts/calendars Apple ID email account, deleted my iMessages Apple ID account, and iCloud account, but STILL can't log back into my Apple ID using either the new or old password.

I already tried powering down and reseting via power-home buttons with no luck. I'm pretty desperate for ideas at this point.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.5

Are you sure you're using the details of the previous account? Normally it' happens on second hand iphone.

There is no previous account. It's the same Apple ID account but just changed the password via icloud.com. I've verified I have the correct new password by logging out and logging back into icloud.com.

are you using the full email address and make sure the capitals for the password are in the right place? - try resetting the password again

Thanks Fabio and leemudd. Yes to the questions above. I'd go to the Apple store but in usual form they will charge me a fee to confirm their own bug. ;-(

Does it just ask you over and over? I changed mine once and it asked me a bunch for a day or two.

Where are you trying to log into your AppleID on the iPhone?

Reply to Zach: Yes, each time I attempt to log in it just says incorrect username or password.

Reply to Chris CA: I must not understand your question. Why wouldn't I need to log into my Apple ID? That account syncs my contacts, calendar, notes, etc, etc. Also, used for iMessages, iTunes....
