Older movies no longer available to rent

I was wondering if it was me or what, but I noticed older movies are no longer available to rent and are now "PURCHASE ONLY". Is any one else seeing this and is there anything I can do about it other than switch to NetFlix or use Redbox. Is apple getting away from rentals? Starting to get fed up with Apple Crap... We paid our money at least keep giving us options...
