Q: wheres my app store it says in finder that the mac app store is damaged or incomplete.

my app stores say

you cant open this application because it is damaaged or incomplete whats going on and how can i fix it

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

You can download the OS X 10.6.8 Combo update: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1399
Takes a while to download (about 1 GB!) but the Combo update WILL replace your damaged Mac App Store file.

Then run Software Update once more, because there were a couple of additional updates since 10.6.8 Combo was released.
