I downloaded a movie and it keeps telling me no space

It's simple. You need to delete things off your iPad. You can delete music, pictures, apps, text messages, mail messages, books, magazines. I'd get rid of things you don't use to add enough space to your ipad. Movies require a bit of space (several GB).

Try downloading to iTune (computer). The computer/laptop have larger HDD.
