I have a similar setup where my Brother wifi enabled printer is 'seen' by the three computers on my home network. However, to get the iPad to be able to print I had to install some third-party software. I use HandyPrint and it works a charm. There are others available - Printopia, I think is another. I was able to use HandyPrint in demo mode to check that it worked as I hoped before buying a license.

(Usual disclaimer: I've no connection with HandyPrint, just happy to recommend their software).
