I have a similar problem with my MacBook Pro 13 2011, 8Gbram, 750 GB 7,200 rpm drive. I have the on-board trackpad set for two-finger-tap right click ... and since updating to Mavericks it will work when rebooted but at some point it will stop working.

I also have a Magic Mouse and Magic TrackPad that I use via Bluetooth with the same machine. The 3 devices (including the on-board trackpad) stop responding to the right click at the same time, so I doubt it is a 3rd party driver issue since I have never installed any... this is Mavericks messing things up.

I´m a loyal user since 1998, I currently have around 6 Macbooks, several iPads, iPhones... so believe me, I love Apple products... but Mavericks has got into my nerves... Mail ***** now... I lost 2 weeks trying to get it to work correctly with gmail and still is SO SLOW, the search won´t find my emails and I have to go one by one... in a 45 thousand email inbox, Dock in auto-hide mode is a PAIN to use in multiple monitor situation (it appears whenever it wants to), the system gets "stuck" for seconds at some point and keeps getting worse until I reboot it. For a power-user this is unacceptable!

Sorry for my rant, I´m usually in a good mood 🙂 but this is cheaper than therapy 😉
