iPod touch 5 dropping wifi

My iPod touch 5 I just got it for school and the wifi keeps dropping a lot and at school they have wifi but the wifi does not drop there it only happens when I am at home or some store

iPod touch (5th generation), iOS 7.0.4

Since it works at school fine, that would point to a problem with the wifi network at home and in some store.

- Power off and then back on your router

.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
