Jan 14, 2014 1:46 PM in response to Sumesh_22by chicagofan98,That solution did not work for me. When I view the album in the iTunes store it shows as pre-ordered. However, in the song list "The Outsiders" shows up as purchased and is not greyed out, while "Give Me Back My Hometown" is shown as pre-orderd and greyed out like the rest of the songs, except it has a disabled drop-down.

Jan 15, 2014 12:16 PM in response to Ssgerkenby BML0319,HERS HOW TO FIX!! To download the preorder you have to go into ITUNES PREFERENCES→CLICK THE STORE TAB→check the box that says AUTOMATICALLY CHECK FOR AVAILABLE DOWNLOADS also check DOWNLOAD PRE-ORDERS WHEN AVAILABLE. click ok and the albums and songs you pre-orderd should begin to download. This should fix all these issues with the preordering.

I'm having the same problem, with purchases not showing up in my liberary on my PC, but when I look at the items in the iTunes store it states "Purchased" next to the various songs and albums I've purchased. I've tried the obvious workarounds (checking the box to automatically download purchases, checking for downloads, etc.) to no avail.
With the number of complaints about this issue there must be a bug somewhere, but nobody seems to be doing anything about it.
Help!!!

Apr 9, 2014 9:15 AM in response to Ssgerkenby thename915,Alright, for anyone unable to download a single after preodering an album, I have the solution (just tried it).
1. You need to temporarily cancel your preorder. On the top menu bar, click, Store, then View Account.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of your iTunes account page and click Manage Preorders.
3. Click the button to cancel to your preorder.
4. Go back to the album page and buy and download the single. The preorder price should drop since you bought the single.
5. Re-preorder the album, should be at the lower price. Now you have the single and have preordered the album, with no extra money spent.
