Q: I gave my iphone4s to a friend. it had a verizon contract that was completed. they are telling him he has to change all his email, telephone and television providers to use it, i don't believe this. what is the truth, how can he change phone only

I gave him my iphone4s when i got an iphone5c. he took it in (I erased all my info) and they told him he cannot have at&t, and that he has to change to comcast, both TV and internet. he has free wireless in santa clara, why should he pay comcast. the whole thing souds fishy, there must be an easier way for him to use this iphone!!

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4, want to change provider for cell.

A Verizon phone will not work with ATT. If he wants to use it, he will need to contact Verizon.
