Q: Email sync

My email account won't sync with my iphone and computer. In other words, Instead of one account, it's like I have three identical accounts. I have to read and delete on each device instead of deleting an email and it erasing off all three at the same. Can you help? I have a Gmail account.

    If your gmail account is an IMAP account, it should do this automatically. That's how IMAP email works. Whatever you do on one device is reflected on all devices. Did this used to work for you? I don't know anything about Gmail and I thought that it was IMAP, but maybe your email account was set up as POP in which case, what you want to do will not work.

    It's funny because when it was just my computer and Iphone 4 it was synced just fine. But now adding an IPad everything has changed. Does that give you any direction?
