Do you recommend me to update my Macbook white unibody to Mavericks?

Hi Everybody!

I want to listen to you, people who used Snow Leopard on a MacBook White Unibody and updated to Mavericks; if you recommend me to update mine, if you miss some apps from Snow Leopard or if all of them works perfectly after, if there are some utilities or features you lose after updating on your apps, or whatever you want to say about. I remember that whan Lion was released, I read lots of complains from people who updated the OS on the same MacBook White Unibody, and even more, a technician from the iShop recommended me to to do so...
