HP Software Update

I've been trying to update my HP Software...but every time I try, I get the message: "The software update service is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

How can this be resolved?? I've been trying to use my HP Setup Assistant to reconnect my printer to my wireless network (I switched from Verizon DSL to Verizon FiOS) and it keeps unexpectedly shutting down before I can complete the setup. I have a HP Photosmart C4780, and my MacBook Pro is running OS X 10.9.1

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I would love to be able to print wirelessly again!!!

Manually DL and install it: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907

Thank you!! I tried DL'ing and instaling it, and it said installatoon successful....but now that's it's installed, I have no idea where on my comp it is for me to run it. I don't see it in my Applications... 😟 Any idea where it could be/how to run it?

If you downloaded it, there should have been a HPPrinterDrivers2.16.1.dmg file put into your downloads folder, as selected in Safari prefs. If you mounted the disk image, then you should have had this. Double-clicking on it installs the SW. Most stuff in put into /Applications/Hewlett-Packard and in /Library/Printers/hp/.
