Jan 12, 2014 11:48 AM in response to weugenepitmanby rccharles,The startup manager will list all of your bootable partitions and discs then give you a choice of which to boot. Hold down the option key then power on. This brings up the startup manager. Click on your hd or disc. Click on right arrow key.
The mac will eject the disc when the disc isn't bootable on your machine. A grey disc will not work. You need the full update disc.
