Configuration problems with IMAP e-mail on iOS with a non-standard SSL port.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Jan 18, 2014 9:34 PM in response to K.O.JonesNCby Jesterkyle,Have you gotten it to work? I found my outgoing mail server in settings, the server port had the wrong # next to it. I looked at my apple phone and dolled what it had and this # did not agree. I am barely able to function in settings but lo and behold I got it to work. The # is 465 in my setting.

Mar 9, 2015 9:54 AM in response to K.O.JonesNCby RobP53,I was trying to do this as well, and I came across a solution that worked. Make sure you have your inbound port set to 995, your outbound port set to 465 as suggested above. Furthermore, you actually have to log into Juno's webmail site, go to settings, find the "POP Mail" section, and select the radio button next to "ON - POP my mail to my desktop/smartphone". Once that's done, return to your mail app and swipe down to refresh the mailbox. You should now see the e-mail messages rolling in. Good luck!
