Q: Hi, how do I restore my email from Time Machine, I use Apple Mail, I can't see a folder marked "email" Thanks

Hi, How do i restore my email when it has been backed up in a time capsule, I can see files for photos, documents etc etc, but nothing that says email. i use Mavericks and Apple Mail

Thanks - fist time using this so forgive me if I havent given enough info

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Unfortunately that would indicate to me that your Apple Mail was not being backed up or potentially some other issue.

 

I would suggest that you take a look at the following Pondini Time Machine Troubleshooting site to see if this can help you recover your email messages.
