I am a new Apple TV user. I cannot get it to pair with either my iPhone or iPad. Suggestions?

My new Apple TV will also not recognize iTunes on my MacBook Pro. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you actually setup it up so it could? Has homesharing been enabled and configured?

Yes, I set it up. Reset the apple tv and did it again. Still doesn't work. My bluetooth can't find the apple tv either.

What bluetooth?

Bluetooth with the ATV is for connecting a keyboard.
