I droped my iphone but it stays on the home apple screen and wont come on it only goes on apple screen when charger is conected? HELP?!

Hi i droped my iphone 4 on floor and now it wont turn on, when i connect the charger in the lcd comes on and th black apple screen comes on but the phone its self wont come on i left it on charge amd it vibrated but still stayed on the apple screen there is no rattle to the phone and i tried pressing the lock and home button but still no good its just stays on the black apple screen!!
