How much does it cost to get MBP screen hinge tightened at genius bar?

My mid-2010 13" MBP has a wobbly screen and it opens up to about 175 degrees. The warranty is way over its end date so I was wondering if someone else with this problem had it tightened at the genius bar and could tell me how much it cost to have it tightened...

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

My 2011 MBP is really wobbly, and after I brought it into the apple store the genius said it was a broken clutch. Is that just the hinge that I could replace with the iFixit guide, or would I have to replace the entire display assembly? I have previously taken apart my MBP to install more ram, an ssd, a new battery, and to reapply thermal paste but have yet to look at the top and the connector to it.

I took my 2011 Macbook in for the same issue, and the guy said i'd need a whole new display assembly 😮, as they supposidly can't go inside the clutch cover on the screen.

Well I had to decline, and after using an iFixit guide (I wouldn't recommend unless your comfortable taking your Macbook apart), I now have no more wobble. 🙂

Bit annoyed 😠 they happily sorted yours, but wanted me to fork out for a whole new screen just because the screws were loose! I must've had a broken genius or something!

The hinge on my old PowerBook became loose over time. I wondered if it was because of opening and closing it more than needed. On all my later laptops I don't close the lid unless I'm actually going to take it somewhere, and I don't have any more issues with loose hinges.

When I need to sleep it but I don't need to move it, I sleep it with the keyboard instead of closing the lid.

^ don't really know what that means, but since I got my laptop back a few days ago I'll tell you what they said. They were able to tighten the screws so that the screen doesn't wobble anymore (woot) but the screen opening to a near 180 degrees is a result of hard shell cases wearing down the screen (as is expected) and to fix that would require a new display.
