Okay to use procedure to Re-Install Mavericks?

I use a Mid 2012 Mac Pro; run Mavericks 10.9.1. Is the procedure to install OS X Mavericks as stated on website: UniBeast: Install OS X Mavericks on Any Supported Intel-based PC

www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based -pc.html a good one to follow if you want to Re-Install Mavericks?

The process of that website is to install OS X on a Hackintosh (in other words, a non-Apple computer with OS X), so you should not follow those steps.

Instead, use OS X Recovery to reinstall OS X, because you do not need any hack to install OS X. Hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting up and reinstall OS X, or download the OS X Mavericks installer from the Mac App Store.
