The keyboard and mouse stopped working.

The keyboard and mouse on my mid-2011 15" MacBook Pro stopped working today. I have a bluetooth mouse and keyboard but the bluetooth is not turned on in the computer. I obviously can not use any start up commands to reset the PRAM, etc. Thoughts or suggestions?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
